Most of what you do in Bible ProJection stays in your own browser. We keep only what an account needs, we never record or save your voice, and we don't sell your information.
Your bookmarks, the Projected list, the places listed under the footprints button, any versions you add under My Versions, and the AI engine you picked are saved in your browser. They don't follow you to another device, and clearing your browser's site data removes them.
If you create an account we keep your email address, a scrambled (hashed) password and your plan. If you use Pro features we also keep your saved Gnosis conversations and, only with your consent, saved transcripts, which are deleted a year after you last save them. We send email only to confirm your address and to reset a password.
Audio is never recorded or saved by Bible ProJection. AI Mode uses your browser's speech recognition, and in Chrome that speech is processed by Google. In Enhanced mode the last few sentences of text, not audio, are sent to our server, which asks a Google AI service for suggestions. Gnosis also uses a Google AI service to answer your questions.
Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and are not kept by us. See Terms & billing for how billing works.
When something breaks, the app may send a short, anonymous report so we can fix it: the page path (without anything after it), your browser type, the app version and your screen size. It does not include your name, email or what you typed.
To have your account and its stored data removed, contact us through the Feedback page. If we delete an account for you, we keep a copy of the sign-in record (email and password hash, not your saved data) for 30 days in case it was a mistake, then it is erased.
If we change what we collect in a way that matters to you, we'll say so here and in the app before it takes effect.
